Portraits in Japan

Documentary-style photo sessions in Kanto (Tokyo area) & Tohoku (northern Japan) are available for 2026. Digital, 35mm film, 120 film, and Polaroid options available. Whether you reside in Japan or visiting, I’m happy to document your occasion. Booking all sessions: portraits, family, pets, engagements, elopements, & weddings (see wedding page for pricing & details). Travel to other parts of Japan are available at an additional cost. Starting at $275 USD for a half hour portrait session. Logistical planning included (location recommendations, location scouting, timing, etc). Payment can be made in USD or JPY.
